How do I remove an old bank account?

Active accounts can not be removed is due to the account being associated with an investment transaction. Due to compliance we can not delete/remove accounts that are relevant of the transaction history. As along as you have identified a default account, that account will now be used for all future investments and any distribution. Until you select a different default account.
