How long is the investment term and when do I cash out?
The investment term is approximately five years. The REIT is not open-ended, meaning it won't go on indefinitely. It goes through a cycle of acquiring assets, renovating, increasing rents, and then selling the assets. The five-year term allows us to go through this process.
We are qualified by the SEC to raise up to $50M, at which point we'd close the REIT to new investments and open up a new one. The five-year term starts once the REIT is fully funded. Your investment/s will be all under the same five-year term. So you can start with an amount you are comfortable with and keep adding to your account.
Once we enter the liquidation phase around year five, investors will be notified. At that point, you may cash out or reinvest into another one of our available funds at that time.
